Inaugural Curefunding Celebration

09/11/2015

We at Give to Cure are pleased to share with our community that with your help and support, we pulled in close to $100,000 in pledges and sponsorships through our inaugural Cure Funding Celebration held on September 9th at The Glass Houses in New York!  These funds will help support operations geared towards meeting Give to Cure’s goal of finding and funding the most promising early stage clinical trials for the world’s most pressing diseases.

This year, Give to Cure honored our independent Scientific Advisory Board which are composed of some of the world’s top researchers, scientists, and doctors in Alzheimer’s research.  They put their precious time and effort into determining the world’s top trials from almost 40 applications from around the world.  An intimate gathering of 100 guests celebrated their efforts and showed their support for our innovative drug development strategy.

During the event, we heard the story of Give to Cure from its founders, gained insight into the Scientific Advisory Board from Peter Davies, learned more about the latest drug developments in Alzheimer’s from Ajay Verma, VP of Experimental Medicine at Biogen, and closed with an auction consisting of gifts from our many supporters including musician, Jewel, and street artist, Shepard Fairey.  The Give to Cure team was overwhelmed with the amount of support and love given by all of our guests.

We would like to give thanks to Bellucci Napoli, Trout Predator Online, Lessing’s, Obey Giant and Jewel for the generous auction item donations as well as all of our donors.

The Inaugural Curefunding Celebration is the kick-off to a hopefully successful campaign to alter the state of Alzheimer’s in the future.  If you would like to be a donor, watch and share our video and donate $15 in honor of an Alzheimer’s patient dear to your heart.

Help us find a cure or treatment for Alzheimer’s now!
